Rosa alba L. — White Rose Oil
Rosa alba is a rare white-petalled rose variety cultivated in small quantities in Bulgaria's Rose Valley. The essential oil has a lighter, more delicate character than Rosa damascena — soft, honeylike and sweet, with a refined floral elegance that sets it apart from other rose oils. Bioform cultivates Rosa alba on 15 hectares of certified organic land in the village of Tazha and distils the oil on site within hours of the morning harvest, preserving the full aromatic subtlety of the fresh blossom.
Rose Alba oil is highly valued in premium skincare and niche perfumery for its gentle, rounded character. Its softer aromatic profile makes it particularly suited to delicate formulations where the intensity of Damascena may overpower other notes. The oil blends beautifully with other florals, citruses and woody bases, offering perfumers and formulators a versatile and distinguished raw material.
